Abstract

19,517. Lynch, P., Wochner, H., and Sauermann, F. W. Sept. 7. Magnets.-Apparatus for exciting permanent magnets 6 comprises two coils, of which one 2 is fixed and the other 3 is movable in guides 4. One end of each coil is connected to a terminal 5 and the other end to its casing, whereby the coils are interconnected through the guides 4. The magnetic circuit is completed by L-shaped and straight bars 7, 8, and a keeper 9 is placed over the magnet limbs before removal.
