Abstract

17,157. Denton, C. R. July 20. Alloys.-A copper alloy contains also nickel. vanadium, zinc, tin, and aluminium. The nickel and vanadium are melted with the copper. and fluxes are stirred into the mass. Zinc is then added, and the temperature raised to 2000‹ F., whereupon the tin and aluminium are added in succession.
