Lubricating; leakage, removing.-In order to supply air under the stern and at the same time to remove bilge water by the motion of the vessel, an air-pipe 6 leading from the upper deck has valve-controlled branches 3, 8 leading respectively to the exterior and interior of the hull. In a modification, a single pipe from the upper deck supplies air to a transverse pipe having a number of valve-controlled connexions.
