Refrigerating, compression machines for; refrigerators, domestic and like.-A compression refrigerating-plant for cooling refrigerating-chambers for shops &c. comprises a doubleacting compressor d driven by an electric motor c, a condensing- coil k, an evaporating- coil l in a brine tank b, and a pump o, also driven by the electric motor, for circulating the brine through coils n in the refrigerating- chamber q. The motor is controlled antomatically through a solenoid or relay t, the circuit of which is closed or broken by a mercury or expansion bar thermostat r in the refrigerating-chamber.
