Ironing processes.-Collars, cuffs, &c. are ironed by passing them beneath the rollers of a reciprocating-table type of machine, then through a steaming and pressing apparatus either of a non- rotary pressure type or of the rotary type in which a padded roller revolves in contact with a curved heated bed, and finally through the polishing and drying machine described in Specification 12,411/14.
