Kinematograph apparatus.-Relates to the production of pictures on a film or the projection in colour of pictures from a film, characterized by the introduction at a point in the passage of the film of a change in the combination of colour filters in use, for example from A B &c. up to the point x to B C &c. following x and so on. Pictures in black and white may be taken or projected in combination with pictures taken through a single colour filter, which colour may be changed from time to time. When changes in the combination of colour filters are efeected, as indicated, with respect to the negative film N, corresponding changes may be made at the corresponding points of the positive film P, or they may be made at other points y forward or backward. Further, if a faithful rendering of natural colours is not desired, the colour changes in the film P need not agree in character with those of the film N.
