[Addition to 11,770/13.] Developing &c. trays, dishes, and apparatus for daylight treatment, with arrangements for plate transfer from plate holder and from bath to bath and with provision for inspecting progress of treatment.- The construction of the apparatus described in the parent Specification is modified so that the various parts of the apparatus may pack into the base box 1 containing the tanks, and in the following respects. The tank box 6 is suspended from ledges 46 by metal strips 48 and is adjustable by the graduated rod 50 to bring the proper tank into position under the plate-holder 16. Access to the tanks can be obtained through one or other of the end lids 45, 45'. The rod 18 screws out of its socket 51. The plate aperture 31 is closed by a small hinged lid 51'. The changing - bag 30 is flexible and collapsible and hooks on to the end 52 of the jointed framework 27, 29. This framework can be folded over, and the end 55 secured on the button 56, forming a compact structure which can be lodged in the base box 1 as shown in Fig. 2, and leaving a space 63 for packing plates &c. The removable piece 58 is replaced by a handle lid 60 which is locked by a bolt 62. The lid 57 of the tank is lined with rubber 58<1> and is pressed down by springs 59 to keep the tanks liquid-tight. To facilitate handling, the tank box 6, Fig. 3, is fitted with pivoting ears 64 which can be raised by lugs 66. The other tanks are fitted with sliding ears 70 with lugs 71 and are positioned in the tank box by stirrups 68, which construction also allows a clearance for the ears 70.
