Abstract

1627. Byrne, J. F., and Howes & Burley. Jan. 21. Brackets, lamp. - In that type of acetylene lamp and generator in which the lamp is mounted at one end of the bracket and a separate generator at the other end, a metal or rigid gas-tube f having its ends disposed adjacent to the gas - connexions on the generator and the lamp parts is combined with one of the members of the bracket, and is connected to the gas-connexions by rubber couplings, metal unions, &c. Fig. 1 shows a combined lamp and generator bracket a having a clip d for securing it to the handle-bar e or other part of a motor-cycle or the like, the rigid tube f being secured within one cf the bars of the bracket a, preferably by clips g and screws.
