786. National Advertograph Co., Rice, H. A., and Patterson, C. G. July 3, 1913. Feeding webs.-Web-tensioning devices in a wrapping-paper or other printing-machine comprise a tension roll 58 which normally bears against the web roll 39, the spindle of the roll 58 being normally pushed forward in slots 59 by levers 61 and springs 62. The ends 60 of the slots 59 are turned as shown, so that by pushing the spindle of the roll 58 into them, it may be held out of the working position. The device may be applied to a printing - machine as described in Specification 15,328/13.
