Abstract
186. Akt.-Ges. Brown, Boveri, et Cie. March 22,1913, [Convention date]. Low-pressure metallicvapour apparatus. - A rectifier anode is cooled by means of an exhausted metal tube c partly filled with liquid and extending into the atmosphere or other cooling-agent, so that the liquid continually distils and returns to the part heated by the anode. Ribs may be provided on the tube. The anode may be formed by the tube itself or may be mounted thereon. As shown, threaded parts of the tube c take the anode b and a nut g, between which insulators d and the rectifier wall a are compressed.
