Combinations of interdependent valves.-In a steam-valve for steam-whistles &c. of the kind having a drain valve actuated by the operating- lever of the main valve so as to open, for drainage, when the main valve is closed, and vice versa, the drain valve G has a connexion L to the operating-lever D independent of that of the main valve A. This connexion may have lost motion to enable the main valve to be opened further after the drain valve is closed by the action of a spring M.
