Each block is retained within a metal clamp, the two parts c, d of which slidably engage each other on the outer side of the belt. The blocks are centrally bored to take double and single links e, f. The double links e are provided with eyes at one end and formed with shoulders e<1> at the other end to abut against the metal frame. The single links are provided with lugs f<1> and eyed at the other end for connecting between the adjacent pair of links e'.
