Abstract

27,870. Bonnella, A., and Bonnella, G. J. Dec. 3. Switches, quick-action. - A Pressel switch comprises an insulating-base 1, a transverse rod 3 sliding in lugs 2 on the base and carrying an insulating-block 4 bevelled on its underside, a spring-pressed roller 9 bearing against the bevelled surface of the block, and independent contacts 11 co-operating with a bridge-piece 13 carried by the block. The bridge-piece 13 is carried by an insulating-collar 12 and is bent around one end of the block 4, the ends 14 of the bridge-piece being bent laterally to engage the contacts 11. Fig. 7 shows the arrangement for a two-way switch.
