Tyre attachments to rims; tyres with rims enclosing air tubes or chambers. - The channel rim with bulged sides consists of one member C, Fig. 2, of L-section, and a detachable side CC. A filler or seat I in two circumferential parts with curved sides fits in the base of the rim and the whole is secured to the felloe by bolts H lying obliquely. Transverse bolts E secure the filler in the rim. The air-cushion is spaced from the sides of the rim, and has a cover with beaded edges fitting in grooves M. In the form shown in Fig. 4, a single-tube cushion is used, with beadings N, and with non-creeping corrugations. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the flexible tread Q is formed with beaded wings 0 covering the cushion.
