Abstract
24,819. Hutton, E. E. M. April 29, 1914. Boxes with wind guards.-A match-box a having a spring- hinged lid h at one end has.attached to three of its edges spring - influenced flaps - b, b, c, which, when set up, form a wind-guard. A spring tooth f on the lid, actuated by a fingerpiece g, is adapted to take into a slot f<1> on the flap c to keep the wind-guard closed. The top of the box is provided with striking-surfaces m, n, for ordinary and safety matches respectively.
