Abstract

24,557. Bunn, C. W. Oct. 29. Folding brackets.-Relates to a folding bracket seat carried by side links from a fixed support so that it can be turned up, when out of use, against the fixed support. The side links b, c are pivoted to the seat frame a<1> and to a fixed support d, the pivot joints on the two sides of the seat being independent of one another. The fixed support d forms an abutment and stop to retain the seat in the horizontal position for use, as shown in Fig. 1. When out of use, the seat occupies the position shown in Fig. 3. In a modification, the links b, c are so arranged that the seat is kept horizontal by the abutment of its rear end with the vertical surface of the fixed support without the provision of stop shoulders d'. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 15,544/13, [Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon].
