Endless-chain conveyers with slat and lath carriers; carriers, attaching to chains.-Feedlattices for openers, scutchers, &c. used in cotton mills are formed of laths C secured by screws R to the blocks D of a pair of block chains. The laths, which are of such a width that there is only a small intermediate space, may be formed of metal strips of the section shown in Fig. 3.
