Abstract

19,665. Vauthrin, A. V. Aug. 30, 1912, [Convention date]. Vices for gripping non - parallel objects are provided with a swivelling jaw having an arcshaped guide D co-operating with an arc-shaped recess in the jaw seat E and having arc-shaped slots k which are engaged by pins H passing through the seat E. The position of these pins with respect to the slots is such that at one side b the motion of the movable jaw is stopped when it has reached a position parallel to the fixed jaw. A plate X protects the movable jaw from dust.
