Abstract

8960. Nieriker, H. April 16. Ear instruments. - A sound-damper for protecting the ear against excessive noise consists of a plug 1 shaped to the anatomical structure of the external ear and auditory canal, flat on its outer side 2, and having a combined passage and groove 6, 7 for ventilation. In modifications, a passage only, or a groove only may be employed. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which both passage and groove are omitted. This subject - matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
