7389. Taylor, F. W. March 28. Envelopes. - An envelope with a perforated opening-strip is formed from a square or oblong blank by cutting away the corners, as shown, to form two overlapping side flaps b, a narrow bottom flap c, and a narrow closing-flap a. The perforations extend across the front of the envelope and the side flaps, at a distance from the top of the envelope equal to the depth of the closing-flap.
