Locking nuts. - In a locking washer with bent-up locking tongues obtained by slitting the washer, one half a of the washer is left flat and the slits and tongues c, d are formed on the other half. The slits may be oblique as shown or r a d i a l, and the tongues, which are bent in opposite directions, may be formed both on the inner periphery of the washer, or one on the outside and one on the inside.
