Abstract
10,660. Parker, J. R. May 6. Stud-and-slot fastenings. - A turn-button fastening is formed of a loop-member 1 with two limbs 3, 4, the ends 13 of which are reduced and turned over to engage one of two pairs of notches 10, 11, Fig. 8, in the hole 8 of the plate C, secured within the oval pommel B. The pommel is provided with a central circular hole 7, a washer 6 having an oval hole 5. Rotation of the turn-button A from the position shown in Fig. 1 through 90 degrees projects the shoulders 2 beyond the narrow diameter of the pommel and so locks the oval eyelet which has been fitted over it.
