Sights.-Consists in carrying the sight-bar c upon two bell-crank levers d, the axes f of which are at right-angles to, and intersect, the gun's axis. The position of the sight-bar may be adjusted by hand, or automatically. As shown in Fig. 2, a toothed sector i connected to the rear lever d gears with a fixed sector j on the gun mounting b, so that the position of the bar is automatically adjusted to suit the elevation of the gun.
