Jan. 4, 1916 Shields for attachment to; aiming-rests for.- Consists of a shield comprising a plate 1 having an aperture in which is universally mounted a perforated ball 5, or other member, through which the rifle is inserted. The aperture 6 in the ball is slotted at the top for sighting purposes. In use the shield also forms an aiming-rest.
