Lamps forming line of light.-In lamps for indirect illumination in buildings, galleries, libraries, covered tennis courts, &c., of the kind employing trough-shaped reflectors or shades above and below the source of light, the reflector B is composed of two or more reflectors b either rigidly connected, or hinged together and secured by quadrants C and screws D, and is connected to the shade or reflector A by a telescopic arm E. The lower shade A may have two or more plane surfaces, or a single curved surface. The reflecting surfaces a, b may be of polished metal or silvered glass or may be white, and the shade may be opaque or translucent.
