Abstract
26,757. Kirby, J. I. Nov. 21. Siphon-discharge water-waste preventers.- When the water-level sinks sufficiently low for the float 6 to fall, the valve 7 is opened and air passes along the bent-over pipe 4 to the siphon. The float carries a sleeve 5, which, although the valve is below the normal waterlevel, prevents access of water to the valve. The air enters by holes 8 in the sleeve.
