Abstract

25,904. Torrance, J. R. Nov. 11. Fittings to indicate bottles containing poisons. -A poison bottle is fitted with a floating or other indicator having a stem b which protrudes on opening the bottle or when pouring. The stem or the bottle or both may be roughened to produce a sound on their relative movement. The indicator may be painted red or made phosphorescent. In a modification, a telescopic or other spring indicator protrudes itself on opening the bottle. The indicator is carried in a support (not shown) during transit of the bottle to prevent breakage.
