Abstract

22,913. K÷nig, W. Oct. 8. Testing; sighting-accessories.-Consists in a method of zeroizing the sights. The gun c, together with a telescope d, is placed on a stand a and fired at a target x. The telescope is then independently adjusted on to the shot mark y, after which, without altering the angular relation between the telescope and gun, the stand is adjusted until the telescope sights the target x. The sights are then adjusted until their line of sight passes through the target x. The telescope may be mounted on the gun instead of on the stand.
