Abstract

19,882. Watts, H. Aug. 31. Picture, photograph, and like mounts. - A framing-card for advertising matter, photographs, or post cards is made from a single piece of material and comprises a central panel 1, surrounded by a moulded representation of a picture frame with lugs 3 at the corners for holding the parts together. A blank card is cut in a rectangular form and with inclined openings 2 at each. corner, provided with projections 3 and recesses 4. The sides x are placed against an adjustable stop a<3>, Fig. 4, and moulded by dies c, d, the sides y being then similarly treated, and the projections 3, to which an adhesive is first applied, are then secured to the mouldings x. The mouldings may be embossed, coloured, or otherwise decorated; the back of the show card may be covered with a piece of cardboard &c. An aperture may he made in the show card.'
