Abstract

18,970. Syracuse, F. F., and Jahraus, J. E. Aug. 19. Drinking-vessels.-Consists in the combination of a non-refillable bottle with a drinking-cup. In one form, a rubber vessel a, Fig. 4, is partly filled with liquid and inflated to make it spherical. The neck c is then sealed and inserted in a cup b, to which it is lightly secured together by cement. The liquid is obtained by slitting the vessel a and drinking the contents from the cup. In a modification, Fig. 5, a glass vessel f is provided with a frangible nipple f<5>. The vessel is open at f<3>, and when the nipple f<5> is broken the contents of the receptacle run out into a drinking-vessel e. The two vessels are secured together by a label g. In a further modification, the vessel e is in the form of a wine glass or the like..
