Air-pressure sprayers. - An apparatus for spraying liquids comprises'an outer casing a and a conical inner casing d containing the substance to be sprayed, the space between the two casings being utilized as a compressedair reservoir. The substance to be sprayed passes from the container d to the passage h, where it is acted on by a jet of air from the reservoir directed against it by the valve-controlled passage k. A pressure gauge n is provided and a valve m for admission of the compressed air. In some cases, air may also be admitted above the liquid to be sprayed through a valve-controlled passage v, Fig. 3. In the form shown in Fig. 4, a chamber r is provided in which the substance to be sprayed falls, the valve g is omitted, and a rose t is provided on the air-pipe.
