Abstract
13,343. Donaldson, G., and British United Shoe Machinery Co. June 6. Press knives.-A cutting-die having internal blades is so constructed as to enable the cutting of a continuous series of blanks to be effected without necessitating the removal of the blanks from the die. The internal blades D are arranged with their cutting-edge E within the die A, and the inner sides of all the blades are so inclined as to afford an increasing clearance to the portions of the blanks passing through the die. The portion of the die between the planes of the cutting-edges may be of uniform aperture.
