Abstract
9642. Brawn, S. L. April 23. Cutting glass.--In a glass-cutting tool of the type in which a small wheel or rowel is used, a number of spare rowels are held in a groove 5 in a plate 1. The groove 5 is normally covered by a sliding plate 2 which can be moved so as to allow one of the spare rowels to be taken out, as shown. For use, the rowel is passed through a hole H in the plate 2 and placed on a pin P fixed to the plate 1. The plate 2 is then moved back so as to close the groove 5 and also to secure the rowel on the pin P.
