Abstract

8149. Ellis, C. April 8, 1911, [Convention date]. Condiments; salt preparations.-A seasoning- material consists of expressed onion juices mixed with an excess of salt, dried in vacuo, and ground. In a modification, comminuted onions are mixed with salt and dried in vacuo, and all or most of the fibre is removed. Calcium carbonate, starch, &c. may be added. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) comprises also the drying of the product at ordinary pressure, and the retention of the fibre therein; this subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
