Door chains.-Relates to the type of door chain that is secured at one end in a keyoperated lock subsequent to the insertion of the other end in a bracket with a keyhole slot. The chain C has a terminal link D, with a stud d<1> nearer one end than the other, so that reversal of the link D alters the effective length of the chain C, as regards insertion in the enlargement a' of the keyhole slot in the bracket A.
