Abstract

2144. Wineberg, R. Jan. 27. Luggage-carriers for cycles &c. are formed of independent members connected together side by side or end to end, the members having outer bars which are integral with intermediate bars or inturned into re-entrant bars. As shown in Fig. 1, the members are connected together side by side, and each consists of an outer bar 1 integral with an intermediate bar 2, the end 3 being connected to the cross-piece 4 of the clip or to the bar 1. The main intermediate bars 2 may be separate from, and connected to, short intermadiate bars x integral with the outer bars. Or the members may be connected together end to end and each consist of a pair of outer bars, one of which is inturned into a pair of re-entrant bars.
