Teeth, artificial.-A dental plate A is provided with one or more insets B of soft rubber for sustaining the plate by suction, which are vulcanized with the hard rubber in the plaster mould. Each inset may consist of one or of two superposed diaphragms of soft rubber with a ring of good quality vulcanizable rubber to effect the junction with the plate rubber. The edges of the soft and hard rubber portions may overlap, dovetail, butt against each other, or be otherwise formed at the joints.
