Abstract

6313. Hare, F. C. March 14. Sheet-holders. - In carbon-sheet holders for manifold writing of the kind comprising a resilient clipping-strip 1 anchored at each end to a plate 4 of metal or celluloid, a roughened paper coating or gripping-material, such as sand-paper, glass-paper, or emery cloth, is applied either to the underside of the strip, or to the portion of the plate beneath the strip, or to both, in order to give a greater binding- effect. The strip may be secured in its fastening position by means of a long U-shaped member 5 pivoted to the plate 4, or by means of several short U-shaped members.
