6110. Hillman, C. T. March 11. Neck-ties have two end portions 1, 2 joined by a metal connector 3 provided with hooks to engage eyes 4 attached to the tie-ends. The hooks may be soldered to the connector 3 or may be part of it. The connector may be of wire with eyes to engage hooks on the tie ends; or it may have a stud fastener 18, as shown in Fig. 5. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1851/07 and 10,270/10.
