Abstract

5386. Girard, P. March 6, 1911, [Convention date]. Processes.-Artificial fibres formed from cellulose filaments are wound upon bobbins or spools and then cut along one or more generating-lines of the bobbin. The fleeces, formed of parallel filaments of a determined and constant length, are then formed into rovings and spun. The filaments used are of a fineness of ¢ denier, a thread being said to be of 1 denier when a length of 500 metres weighs 50 milligrammes.
