Abstract

191,202. Phillips, F. J. H. Feb. 3, 1922. Drawings to Specification. Fly-wheels.-The exhaust is withdrawn from the cylinder of an internal-combustion engine by a fan which may be formed on the fly-wheel or may be provided with a heavy rim and actuated by the gaseous current. The exhaust is cooled by air set in motion by a screw fan formed in the boss of the exhaust fan or fly-wheel.
