Electric killing-appliances.-In an electrical device for destroying insects, the positive and negative wires 13 are wound alternately round bars 9, 11, the bar 11 being movably secured by bolts 12 to the cross-bar 6 of the frame for the purpose of tightening or straightening the wires. The terminal ends of the wires are connected through a lamp 15 and switch 16 to the main current. The cross-bar 9 is supported on a bar 8, both being secured to the frame 1. A tray 17 is provided for the dead insects.
