Lids and covers.-The lids 1 of boxes 4 for polishes, pastes, powders, &c. have one or more hollow protuberances 3 arranged on the downwardly-extending edge 2 between the top and the lower edge thereof. On pressing the protuberances with the fingers or by striking them with a suitable tool or body, the lid is distorted and may readily be removed.
