The ski 1 carries a plate 3 with drilled lugs 6 adapted to receive a pivot pin 7 which is secured in position by engaging an extension 12 under a projection 14. In use, a plate 8, which is secured to the sole of the boot by screws &c., is placed on the pivot pin 7 between the lugs 6, the pin 7 passing through a lug 11 on the plate. The heel of the boot is confined laterally by tongues 16.
