138,399. Charles, A. E., and Lancaster, F. J. Jan. 8, 1919. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Protectors, securing.-A revoluble heel C is attached by a shank d, with a compressible head d<1>, to a notched tube A in the permanent heel. The shank may be in one with a disk D, or may be held to it by a flange (not shown). In a modification, the tube A is replaced by a flat spring plate, in which case the head d<1> need not be compressible. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 3567/04, 19220/09, and 26850/12.
