Aerial machines without aerostats; planes, arrangement of; propelling.-Fig. 1 shows a side elevation, and Fig. 2 a cross-section on the line A, B of Fig. 1 of a flying-machine comprising two superposed planes D, E connected together by struts which carry the bearings of the shafts of rotary propellers C. The shafts are placed at such a distance apart that inner blades of the propellers mesh during their rotation and drive air away from the upper surface of the lower plane E against the under surface of the upper plane D.
