Mineral oils, distilling; progressive evaporators. - Relates to the apparatus for obtaining lighter products from mineral oils described in Specification 4120/90, and consisting of a still A divided into compartments B, C, D, E and provided with pipes G<1> leading vapours from one compartment to the next through condensers G. Water traps I are arranged in the pipes K leading from the condensers G to the still, and the lower portions of the pipes K are heated by immersion in the .liquid in the still. Means may be provided for maintaining a pressure in the still, as described in Specification 11,757/90, a n d the vapours not condensed in the main condenser may be led back to any of the vapour connexions in the still.
