Yarns, warping and beaming.-Threadguides for use in guiding single yarns or groups of yarns in warping or beaming machines and other machines comprise two hooks b formed in one with and extending from the base c, and overlapping to leave between them a passage inclined throughout or in part to the direction in which the yarn passes through the guide. The thread-guides may be made of any suitable material, and where two threads are to be led through the same guide the ends e of the hooks are directed downwards into the eye d, forming two notches d<2>, in each of which one yarn may run.
