Alarms for bearings, operated by fusible devices.-A bolt i bears against a wax or like fusible plug f in a hole e bored in the bearing, and is pivoted to a bell-crank lever h, which is acted upon by a spring m. When the plug f melts, the bolt i moves into the hole e, and the lever h turns and brings a wheel l into contact with a driving-pulley n, a mechanical bell k being thus operated. The melted wax &c. flows down a groove x and acts as a lubrieant.
