Abstract

11,708. Brooker, H., and Brooker & Co., T. H. May 15. Rotary apparatus. - A rotary device for advertising and displaying goods comprises a number of supports 3<b>, 3<c>, Fig. 1, disposed vertically one above the other, adjacent ones rotating in opposite directions. Thev may be driven axially by bevel-gearing 8, 9, Fig. 1, or circumferentially by spur-wheels 32, Fig. 6, fixed upon sleeves 4, one for each support, connected together by bevel gearing like that shown in Fig. 1. If desired, the circumferential drive may be effected from two oppositely driven shafts, connected to the supports frictionally or through toothed gearing. Illumination may be supplied by lamps placed behind a translucent false backing to the casing, and the lamps may be provided with rotating coloured screens.
